🏢 Job Summary

The Finance Administrator will support the Finance team with day-to-day transactional and administrative tasks. Working as part of a close knit and supportive team, this role is ideal for an enthusiastic and numerate individual who is eager to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic SaaS business. You will be supported and mentored by the Management Accountant and the wider Finance team. There will also be opportunities for training and professional development.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing: Accurately input and process purchase invoices, ensuring correct coding and approvals.
• Expense Management: Review and process staff expenses in line with company policy.
• Bookkeeping Support: Assist with the preparation and maintenance of accurate accounting records.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Supplier Management: Support the Finance team in maintaining up-to-date supplier records and resolving queries.
• Month-End Support: Assist with the collation of information and basic reconciliations as part of the month-end close.
• Ad-hoc Tasks: Provide general support to the Management Accountant and wider Finance team as required.

✔ Essential Skills & Experience

• GCSE Grade A-C (5-9) in Maths and English (or equivalent)
• Eagerness to learn and develop in a finance role.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload.
• Good attention to detail with a methodical approach to tasks
• Competent in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace applications (particularly Excel/Google Sheets)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while independently managing tasks and priorities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Experience of working within a finance team.
