  • We’ll use your CV to see how well your skills and experience match the role, so focus on what’s most relevant to the job description. Try to keep it short and to the point, 2 pages is ideal, but 3 is totally fine too.

Keep it professional and don’t include unnecessary information. Let your achievements and personality shine through, as that’s what’s important to us!

Putting together a CV can take time and involves a lot of detail, but it’s well worth tailoring it to the specific role you’re applying for. Taking the time to highlight the skills and experience most relevant to the job helps your strengths stand out, capturing the hiring manager’s attention and increasing your chances of moving on to the next stage: the interview.

    Top Tips

    • Remove any unnecessary information, including jargon.

    • Sell yourself - what are your unique qualities, skills and experience that make you stand out from the crowd?

    • Be transparent about any gaps in your CV. Whether you took time off for travel, study, personal reasons, or something else, briefly explain the reason and the timeframe.

    • AI can be a great tool to support your CV writing, whether it’s helping you rephrase certain sections, improve structure, or find stronger wording. But remember: your CV should still reflect you. Keep it personal and authentic, because your unique experience and voice matter most.

    • A clear, well-structured layout makes it easier for everyone reviewing your CV to understand your experience. Keep it simple and easy to follow.

    1. We know interviews can be a bit nerve-wracking, especially if it’s been a while.

We’ll ask a range of questions to get to know you better, your experience, your skills, and what you could bring to the role.

Some interviews include scenario-based or behavioural questions designed to understand how you handle real-life situations at work. These questions often focus on areas like overcoming challenges, collaborating with others, managing conflict, or solving problems under pressure.

To answer these questions effectively, it’s helpful to use a structured approach known as the STAR method. This technique helps you tell a clear and compelling story about your experience:

      • S – Situation: Briefly set the scene by describing the context. What was happening? Who was involved?

      • T – Task: Explain your specific role or responsibility in the situation. What challenge or goal were you addressing?

      • A – Action: Detail the steps you took to handle the task. Focus on your contributions and decisions, highlighting skills or qualities you used.

      • R – Result: Share the outcome of your actions. What was achieved? Try to include measurable results if possible, and explain what you learned from the experience.

Using this method helps you keep your answers clear, focused, and impactful. We want to hear how you made a difference, so be specific and honest about your experience.

There are a few things you can do during your interview to help you feel more relaxed and stand out in the crowd:
